The grade
Southern Nigerian forest-edge seeds hand-collected and sun-dried.
Sun/mechanically dried Aframomum melegueta seed pods, wild-harvested and hand-collected, not yet cracked or ground; no international or government-mandated grading standard exists at origin, so pods are informally sorted on colour, moisture, freedom from broken/empty pods and foreign matter, with aromatic (essential oil/gingerol-relative) content and freedom from filler adulteration (allspice or other seed cut into the lot) verified only by independent lab/sensory assay, not by seller declaration.
